Bah-Humbug, Daddy!

by Carson

Daddy's been Busy.
The Holidays are here!

I’m really looking forward to my first visit from Santa. Mommy tells me he’s a fat man who likes to wear red. If you ask me, he sounds a lot like Unky Toot!

Speaking of Unky Toot and Aunt Linda, they’re in town visiting ahead of our trip to Texarkana to see Papap and Mamaw. It’s been fun meeting them, but I had to laugh at Unky Toot and the way he holds me (Aunt Linda– you’re a natural!).

You might have noticed I haven’t written a lot in my blog lately. Actually, I’ve written a lot, but my Daddy’s been too busy at work to help me post it here (it’s hard to keep my head up for so long– sorry!) and that’s made me a little fussy.

Ok. It’s made me mostly fussy as you can see from my photo.

Daddy says he’ll have more time to help me once he retires, so I’m looking forward to blogging daily when I’m twenty-five! I’m really excited about that and, as you might know, when I get excited I like to poo!

Anyway…

I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday and that Santa Claus has you on his “nice” list and not on the other one.

I love you all and thanks for reading my blog!

Mirror, mirror…

Time to play some more– and then it’s poo time!

Yay, poo time!

My First Real Bath

by Carson

Baths rock!
What an exciting Thanksgiving Holiday– I had my first real bath! I thought sponge baths were nice but, wow! Nothing beats sitting in a tub filled with warm water. You can tell I’m enjoying it by the way I’m looking at Mommy.

It was terrific, except I became a little embarrassed when Daddy pulled out the camera and mentioned something about one day showing my friends when I got my driver’s license. Thank goodness for a fortuitous pitcher placement– that was close!

My First Pooh

by Carson

I love Pooh!
If you’ve been reading my blog, you know I like poo. Well, it turns out I also like Pooh!

The other day, my Gran Roxanne said she wanted to read “Poo” to me and I thought, “Well, ok. That’s a little weird, but I like poo– so I’m up for it!”

Imagine my surprise to learn “poo” wasn’t poo, but Pooh!

I may be a Genius but I still have a lot to learn– thanks, Gran Roxanne!

My Cousin Chase

by Carson

Me and Cousin Chase.
Last weekend I went on a trip. Mommy and Daddy bundled me up nice and snug. Really nice and snug.

They put me in the car seat. They said they didn’t want to be in the papers like Britney Spears. I’ve heard her sing and I can’t blame them. I don’t want to be like her, either.

Then we went for a drive to Grandpa Ken and Grandma Evelyn’s house and we saw Uncle Brian and Aunt Melissa. Best of all, we saw Cousin Chase.

Me and my Cousin Chase. He’s a lot of fun. We talked for hours about sports and Governor Arnold and about poo.

He’s a big fan of poo, too.

It’s nice to have someone you can talk to about poo.

Mommy Needs to Sleep

by Carson

Grandad and I give mommy a rest.
Grandma Evelyn and Grandpa Ken came to visit on Friday.

My Mommy has been listening to me sing so much, she needed to freshen her ears (and her eyes) and my Grandma and Grandpa came to help.

(Daddy sleeps at work.)

I was happy they came. Can’t you tell from my smile? I think, looking at Grandpa’s smile, he was happy, too!

I want to sing!

by Carson

I like to sing!I’ve made my first music video!

If you’d like to hear me sing, click on the picture and the video will load on a new page. Remember, videos are big so it might take a few minutes to load.

Time to go back to my voice lessons. See ya!

My Papap

by Carson

My Papap.
This is my Papap. He was a cowboy. A for-real one, not a dress up one.

He taught my Daddy what bull poo smells like and how to tell a funny story.

And that’s how my Daddy wound up working in advertising.

My Mamaw

by Carson

My Mamaw.
This is my Mamaw. She taught my Daddy never to be late; that being late was impolite.

And that’s why, when the Doctor said I should be here on the 28th of October I thought, “Better not disappoint Mamaw.”

So I was born on the 28th.

And, yes, I know how to use a semicolon in a sentence. I’m a genius. A genius who likes to poo.

Gran Roxanne

by Carson

This is Gran Roxanne.
This is Gran Roxanne. She likes to come to my house and make meals for Mommy and Daddy. That makes the house smell good.

She once whispered in my ear that she does this so she can spend more time holding me while Mommy and Daddy eat. She’s sly.

Grandma Evelyn, Grandpa Ken

by Carson

Grandma Evelyn and Grandpa Ken.
This is Grandma Evelyn and Grandpa Ken. Grandma Evelyn made a hat and a blanket for me that keeps me warm. I like them a lot.

The hat has a fuzzy ball on top. It’s Tom-Tom’s favorite.

One day I will pull his tail.
